Faerie Dragon - Puck

Faerie Dragon - Puck

In Sentinel's search for heroes to aid them in the war against the Scourge, they discovered the lost lands of the mystical Faerie Dragons. Upon explaining the conflict to the Faerie Queen of Agrace, she sent forth Puck, a personal guardian, to turn the tides of war. Despite his small size and mischievous personality, the little dragon soon proved to pack more than his fair share of power on the battlefield, blasting through the enemy ranks with balls of magic, faerie dust, and the capability to stupefy an entire army with nothing more than his imagination. His foes all learned the hard way that size matters not in combat, and that appearances are, ultimately, deceiving.

Abilities

Illusory Orb
Sends a magic orb flying down a straight path damaging everything in its way. At any time during the life of the orb the Faerie Dragon may teleport up to it, taking its place. 1800 Range, 225 AOE.
Level 1 - Deals 70 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 140 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 210 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 280 damage.

Level 1 - Deals 60 damage and Silences for 0.1 seconds.
Level 2 - Deals 120 damage and Silences for 1 second.
Level 3 - Deals 180 damage and Silences for 2 seconds.
Level 4 - Deals 240 damage and Silences for 3 seconds.
Mana Cost: 100/110/120/130
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Phase Shift
Shifts the Faerie Dragon out of existence for a brief period, temporarily avoiding any further damage.
Level 1 - Up to 0.75 seconds.
Level 2 - Up to 1.5 seconds.
Level 3 - Up to 2.25 seconds.
Level 4 - Up to 3 seconds.
Mana Cost: 50/40/30/20
Cooldown: 6 seconds

Dream Coil
Puck's powerful imagination engulfs an area, creating coils of volatile magic that damages and stuns enemy units as it latches on to them. Stretching the coils beyond 600 range causes it to snap and deal additional damage and stun time. Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 1 - Initial: 100 damage and 0.5 seconds stun. Coil Break: 100 damage and 1.5 seconds stun.
Level 2 - Initial: 150 damage and 0.5 seconds stun. Coil Break: 150 damage and 2.25 seconds stun.

Mana Cost: 100/150/200

Participate in the public beta. Download and get Dota 6.62 map. This is to give IceFrog the proper adjustments for the new Warcraft 1.24.

Please note that there is basically no difference between this and the Dota 6.61b map. Anyway, here's what IceFrog has to say about the Dota 6.62 map:

"This version most likely has many broken abilities and functions right now. A huge amount of code has been at least partially rewritten for this patch. Various untested new functions in 1.24 are being used, anything can go wrong.

The first step is to have everyone here test in either single player or with a couple other people, test everything in the game and report which ones are broken.

There should be zero functional changes between 6.62 and 6.61b. If you aren't sure if something is bugged or not compare it with 6.61b.

The only concern for this version right now is to make sure the map code is functional. Do not use these subforums to report anything unless it is an issue that is unique for 6.62/1.24 or to use it as a suggestion forum. There are many potential issues so we need to keep things organized and focused on the task at hand.

The bugs aren't just limited to abilities. Items, commands, game modes, game behavior, rules, upgrades, timers, etc are all vulnerable to bugs.

After we pass Phase 1 of the testing (testing by yourself or with a group of people on westfall), we will then start to do regular 5v5 games to find what other bugs were missed. You can do these games now if you want as well, but we will formally start them after we have had extensive tests on the rest of the stuff first. There are many bugs that will only be easy to catch in multiplayer though, so you are encouraged to try and play with a few people at least.

Thanks in advance for all the help."

How To Counter Naix

Here's how to defeat or counter Naix:

Disables are Naix's biggest fear. Rage only lasts less than 5 seconds and as long as Naix's stunned, he can't deal any damage, regenerate or Infest, leaving him vulnerable on the spot.

Focus Fire with your team to bring down Naix in team battles. Even if he has Lifesteal and Feast, constant damaging, especially from DPS heroes, will make Naix's health drop rapidly.

Slow will destroy Naix's killing potential. Since Naix is melee, if you slow him down every time he tries to kill you, there's no possibility that he'll catch up unless he's with an ally.

Call for help will save your life if Naix is in the process of killing you. If Open Wounds did not kill you, chances are if your teammates arrive in time, they can kill Naix if no creeps are around.

Blink Dagger will help you escape even if Naix casted Open Wounds on you. It's a decent item on any hero. Simply blink away and run away.

Playing Strategy for Early Game:
1. Naix should almost always either be attacking a camp or moving to another camp.
2. Always target creeps from lowest health to highest health to reduce damage taken.
3. Never creep pull to build up creeps, only creep pull if you need to.
4. Use Open Wounds at last resort for regeneration, don't use it for every camp.
5. When you're attacking the creeps, always check for any enemy heroes missing.
