Upon explaining the conflict to the Faerie Queen of Agrace, she sent forth Puck, a personal guardian, to turn the tides of war. Despite his small size and mischievous personality, the little dragon soon proved to pack more than his fair share of power on the battlefield, blasting through the enemy ranks with balls of magic, faerie dust, and the capability to stupefy an entire army with nothing more than his imagination. His foes all learned the hard way that size matters not in combat, and that appearances are, ultimately, deceiving.

Get Dota 6.62 Beta Map | Free Download of Dota 6.62 Map
Participate in the public beta. Download and get Dota 6.62 map. This is to give IceFrog the proper adjustments for the new Warcraft 1.24.
Please note that there is basically no difference between this and the Dota 6.61b map. Anyway, here's what IceFrog has to say about the Dota 6.62 map:
"This version most likely has many broken abilities and functions right now. A huge amount of code has been at least partially rewritten for this patch. Various untested new functions in 1.24 are being used, anything can go wrong.
The first step is to have everyone here test in either single player or with a couple other people, test everything in the game and report which ones are broken.
There should be zero functional changes between 6.62 and 6.61b. If you aren't sure if something is bugged or not compare it with 6.61b.
The only concern for this version right now is to make sure the map code is functional. Do not use these subforums to report anything unless it is an issue that is unique for 6.62/1.24 or to use it as a suggestion forum. There are many potential issues so we need to keep things organized and focused on the task at hand.
The bugs aren't just limited to abilities. Items, commands, game modes, game behavior, rules, upgrades, timers, etc are all vulnerable to bugs.
After we pass Phase 1 of the testing (testing by yourself or with a group of people on westfall), we will then start to do regular 5v5 games to find what other bugs were missed. You can do these games now if you want as well, but we will formally start them after we have had extensive tests on the rest of the stuff first. There are many bugs that will only be easy to catch in multiplayer though, so you are encouraged to try and play with a few people at least.
Thanks in advance for all the help."

How To Counter Naix
Here's how to defeat or counter Naix:
Disables are Naix's biggest fear. Rage only lasts less than 5 seconds and as long as Naix's stunned, he can't deal any damage, regenerate or Infest, leaving him vulnerable on the spot.
Focus Fire with your team to bring down Naix in team battles. Even if he has Lifesteal and Feast, constant damaging, especially from DPS heroes, will make Naix's health drop rapidly.
Slow will destroy Naix's killing potential. Since Naix is melee, if you slow him down every time he tries to kill you, there's no possibility that he'll catch up unless he's with an ally.
Call for help will save your life if Naix is in the process of killing you. If Open Wounds did not kill you, chances are if your teammates arrive in time, they can kill Naix if no creeps are around.
Blink Dagger will help you escape even if Naix casted Open Wounds on you. It's a decent item on any hero. Simply blink away and run away.

1. Naix should almost always either be attacking a camp or moving to another camp.
2. Always target creeps from lowest health to highest health to reduce damage taken.
3. Never creep pull to build up creeps, only creep pull if you need to.
4. Use Open Wounds at last resort for regeneration, don't use it for every camp.
5. When you're attacking the creeps, always check for any enemy heroes missing.

New Recipes
Poor Man's Shield
A very cheap item. It blocks 100% of 20 hero damage and gives 60% chance to block 20 non-hero damage (half for ranged). Just buy 2 Slippers of Agility, Stout Shield and the recipe.

Kunkka Distance and Timing Mini Guide
Kunkka Distance and Timing Mini Guide
Ghost Ship Targeting and Damage
- Ghost Ship only deals damage where it crashes, it does NOT deal damage when it passes through enemies.
- Ghost Ship will always travel its minimum distance (950 units), even if it is targeted closer than that range.
- If you cast Ghost Ship at 950 range or greater the ship will crash at the exact point you targeted.
- 425 detection AoE to grant Rum (width)
- Ghost Ship spawns 1000 units behind Kunkka (unless that's outside the map boundaries)
- The total distance the ship travels is 1950 (950 from the hero)
- The movement speed is 650
Comboing X Marks the Spot to Ghost Ship
In order to combo X Marks the Spot to Ghost Ship by targeting Ghost Ship on the X you need:
- To cast X Marks the Spot from outside of 575 range
- Hence, at least level 2 X Marks the Spot
If these criteria are fulfilled, Ghost Ship’s AoE will overlap onto the X from X Marks the Spot
Torrent
- The bubbles that appear on the ground when you cast Torrent are invisible to your enemies, though your casting animation can still give you away.
- The AoE of Torrent is the same as the target cursor. Thus, the AoE is small, but like Ghost Ship's AoE it is still significantly larger than the spell effect's graphic, the bubbles.
- While the Torrent’s bubbles play on some sort of loop or are so small you cannot use them as to track the wind up’s progress, the gas part of the graphic only plays once.
- A 300 ms hero with boots (350 ms) can walk from his ranged creep, to a bit before the enemy ranged creep.
Tidebringer
- Non-primary targets take more Damage from Tidebringer
- Cleave damage is unreduced by armor or magic resistance.See Robzor’s Multi-targeted Physical Attacks Guide
- Take advantage of this fact when running up to your enemy after landing a Torrent by whacking a creep along the way if the circumstances call for it. Doing so will also start the CD of Tidebringer earlier and provide you with an excellent opportunity to animation cancel the hit too.

Dark Seer Game Strategies
Dark Seer Skill Strategies
Here are some tips on how you can improve in playing the skills of Dark Seer - Ish'kafel. Each skill is given some general tips on how to use them more effectively.
Vacuum
Your only direct damage nuke with a helpful moving feature.
Pull back a running hero. If he's running and you're behind him, you have to have good timing. You should get used to the cast range and the AoE. Both are big enough, but when a running hero is quite close to you and you aim vacuum wrong, you may even help the enemy escape.
If the running enemy is quite near, cast vacuum literally on yourself. He will be dragged right to you. If he is further away (not in the distance to be able to pull him to you) you have to predict where he moves. Cast it right on him and since it's not instant and he's running, when the pull occurs, he is approximately and the edge of the AoE, causing maximum pull and therefore increasing the chance of catching him.
In farming, when coupled with ion shell, you can use vacuum to drag all enemy creeps exactly on the shelled unit, utilizing shell even more.
To get a kill. Vacuum enemies to a friendly stunner. Works perfectly.
Ion Shell
Your biggest damage output. Remember that this doesn't damage the unit it is cast on. Shell should be cast on friendly melee heroes with stun, but other heroes can utilize it too (ranged tanks against a melee team).
To get a kill, cast together with surge on a friendly hero to ensure a huge damage output.
For jungling, you should permanently have shell when jungling. Never forget it. Since it does much more damage than vacuum, always max it when jungling. Shell won't be dispelled by purge, so don't fear the satyrs.
Surge
Great support skill. This 6.5 second haste can save heroes and help get a few kills.
For travelling. It can get you quicker anywhere you want. Use it always when going to the fountain. Since it doesn't cost tons of mana, you can spam it once you have a few mana items.
Wall of Replica
This is your main pushing skill. Cast it on the cliff to the base. Tell your teammates to run through. Select all images and attack.
For defending, cast it again on the cliff. If the enemies want to destroy the tower, they will run through and the images will slow them down.
For distraction. Cast it in the forest with all your teammates, send the images to a fake gank and push the other side. You need a good team for this.
